Citizen's Advisory Committee (CAC)
In September 2010 the Citizen's Advisory Committee (CAC) for the Better Market Street Project was formed. The CAC is a group comprised of representatives from the community who meet monthly to advise the Better Market Street Project Team on the general direction of the project and give guidance on challenges that the team is confronting. The CAC’s membership is a selection of diverse demographic, geographic and advocacy groups along the project limits chosen to accurately represent the needs and interests of those who utilize the Market Street corridor. Representation of agencies on a CAC is highly desirable as a means of interaction between local residents and their government.
The CAC has these basic functions:
- Represent interest groups from throughout the City and County of San Francisco
- Attend and hold regular meetings
- Ensure comments and points of view of participants are recorded
- Facilitate consensus on issues
Our next meeting will be held on:
Monday, February 11, 2013, at 6:00PM
The meeting will take place at:
@ San Francisco County Transportation Authority
1455 Market Street, 22nd Floor
